The above is an electoral summary of the
various races where Commissioner James
was on the ballot and the percentage of
the vote he received. In the early to
mid 90's he ran for City Council
at-large (1993 and 1995) winning the GOP
primary but losing narrowly. In 1996 he
ran for County Commission, won, and has
continued to serve on that body for six
terms.

Voters could choose one or more candidates but could not vote for any candidate
more than once (no cumulative voting).
