March 6, 1997, Page 15A While I appreciate the comparison to a piece of high-tech expensive Government hardware, I ran as a proponent of neighborhood schools, and was elected to represent my constituents interests. Supporting the Rucho-Gulley bill which Mr. Shinn cites is an example of supporting the concept of LIMITED government which I ran on. It is not "disruptive" to propose items for which you ran and were elected to do. |
