Polly Ann Mattingly, daughter of William Mattingly and the wife of Judge Josiah H. Combs. Polly's grandmother was Mary Barnes who was married to Ignatius Mattingly.

Polly Ann Mattingly was married to Judge Josiah Henry Combs. Her father was William Mattingly and her grandfather and mother were Ignatius Mattingly and Mary Barnes. He husband was murdered in 1894 in Hazard, the last death of the French-Eversole War.
